For the second part of the Kickstarter project we shared the motivations and inspirations behind our practices. Following this we had to create a piece of work for each other inspired by the other persons practice. Izak explained the way he worked with found object and gave me a couple of artists that work in similar ways to himself. These were Antoni Tapies and James Concannon. Using the ideas of these two artists I recreated a final piece from an old project that I have plans to return to. This is focused on gun crime in America and I have used the same lino prints and text as those that I used in the original piece.

The piece that Izak made for me is a response to my research around American gun crime. He has used the repetitive nature of my pattern making with the text being displayed over and over to fill the page.
