Making public art ideas out of random object
This is the start of a new collection that will allow me to learn more about the structural and design technicalities involved in creating large scale public sculpture.
In these first pieces I have photographed a sock that has been placed on the corner of a table. I have then removed the background and placed the images onto of photos of the Fourth Plinth in London.

My next steps are to work out what materials this piece would be made out of, how it would be installed, how it would be fastened to the plinth etc

To develop this further I will use other locations to impose these images onto as well using a range of different object.

The idea behind this is to allow me to explore the different restraints and possibilities that there are within public art in a much quicker way.
