Experimenting with ready made - garden weave

While we are in lock down I have also decided to experiment with the ready made. This is a form of art that I have always been interested in but haven't experimented with much.

I found a large wire fencing piece in the garden which inspired me to make some a non-textile weave out of other things round the garden. Most of these included bits of plants that my parents have been clearing out. I found that this was a fun and experimental way of working. It also felt very freeing to make work with no pressure of this being a success or for it to mean anything. This piece was simply me experimenting with what was around me at that exact moment in time.
