Green Dreams exhibition

These images are from my personal documentation of the Green Dreams exhibition at St Margarets Church. This was an interesting experience for me as it was the first time that I handed over my work and allowed the curators to display it themselves. Although I knew it was going to be displayed on a plinth, I had not considered the height of the plinth. In my mind I had pictured the work on a much taller plinth. Although I think this successfully allows the viewers to see the top of the work I don't think this height works in this space. Due to the why background of my work the piece blends into the surroundings and gets a bit lost, particularly because it is so close to the ground. I also think this makes it harder for some viewers to see the details in the tight stitches of my embroidery, which is something that is very important to this piece.
