Soft sculpture gun no.1

This piece is made from a school summer dress. I am interested in questioning violence around children and the potential impact this can have. This ranges from children's play to child soldiers. I want the viewers to decide for themselves what the piece means and what it might relate to. My reasoning for this is that I don't want to tell the audience what to think, instead I want to provoke a much broader question about the normalisation of violence.
