Soft Sculpture Gun no.2

Following on from my fabric gun made out of a school dress I have started to experiment working in 3D.

I have used a regular cushion making technique to create a soft sculpture of a simple handgun shape. However, without the additional details I think the school dress fabric is less effective. I also want to move away from focusing on a single specific issue and take a more general approach.

To do this I am going to focus my research on the normalisation of violence and the way that it is seen to be normal to be entertained by violence (film, theatre, games, child's play) and provoke a question about our consciousness to violence.
