Virtual Exhibition

The exhibition that I have been curating for Fairhurst Gallery had to be cancelled due to the Coronavirus situation. It felt a huge shame to miss out on showing the work, especially after the amount of work that had been put in.
I have set up a virtual exhibition which includes the work that would have been in the exhibition. To do this I have used a site called Kunstmatrix. This has allowed me to uploads each of the works and curate an exhibition that can be accessed and moved through online.
A part of the exhibition that was of main significance to me was the conversation/participatory aspect. This was not possible within the virtual gallery space that I had made so instead I put together a Facebook page link to the exhibition. On this page I have posted images of the artists work along with the questions that they came up with for the audience to respond to. The viewers can then starts conversations and voice their opinions on another online platform.
